They may be closer than ever, and very much in love — but Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are NOT walking down the aisle anytime soon despite tabloid reports to the contrary.
According to Star magazine, Liam and Miley were reportedly close to getting engaged so the couple wanted to “make sure that their parents spent quality time together during Miley’s ‘Gypsy Heart’ tour in Liam’s native Australia.
First, Craig and Leonie Hemsworth got VIP treatment when Miley performed in Melbourne on June 23; she sent a private helicopter to pick them up from their home on Phillip Island. Miley later flew Tish, Liam, and his parents back to Phillip Island for a stay at their home…they’re acting like one big happy family!”
Miley’s rep made it clear the story is inaccurate, stating: “I am not sure on the trips and flying people around but they are not getting engaged.”
