Wonder what happened to Dancing with the Stars’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy gig on the Ukrainian Bachelor?

The bad boy of dance tells RumorFix exclusively, “I have chosen a girl, but it wasn’t a proposal.”

Even though he thinks giving someone a promise ring is “childish,” he tells us “that’s the closest to what it would actually be.”

Maks says once the show stopped taping, the couple started to really get to know each other.  He moved her to Los Angeles and “We were together for a total of three days,” he says. The 31-year-old says the romance started in the middle of the DWTS season and “To be fair, I don’t think the timing was right to try to find out something about another person.”

The dancing pro adds, “We parted ways very cordially –- no fights no nothing.”

So would Maks be up for the American Bachelor? No, says publicist Lizzie Grubman. “He’s going to find love the real way.”
