What’s a season of Dancing with the Stars without some diva drama! Us Weeklyclaims the diva alert was set off when Kirstie Alley first arrived on the set of the hit ABC show.
“The first week, she really wanted to be in control,” head makeup artist Melanie Mills admits. “She even brought her own dress to wear – and the costume designers altered and bejeweled it for her!”
Alley brings in her own makeup stash and voices strong opinions on how it should be applied.
We’re not exactly sure why this was reason enough for folks to sound the diva alarm, but one thing is clear now: everyone seems to love Kirstie, even her competition.
“She’s an absolute sweetheart. She’s so nice,” professional dancer Mark Ballas tells us. ”When I hurt my ankle the other day she was there and trying to help me out.”
As for whether Kirstie is a diva, Ballas says, ”None of that is true.”
