In a bizarre incident Wednesday, Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were confronted by a man who claimed Paris agreed to marry him.
KABC-TV has identified the man as James Rainford, who had been arrested twice for showing up at Hilton’s house and fighting her security guards.
Rainford was arrested and booked, while Hilton was taken inside the courthouse.
She later tweeted: ”That other psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary! 
“
Cameras caught Rainsford going for Waits neck, before quickly being taken down by one of Hilton’s bodyguards.
When asked who he is, the attacker said, “I’m a man who runs this world. I’m not a stalker by all means.”
He claims Paris agreed to marry him and says he even got permission from her dad.
Paris was in court to testify against another alleged stalker.
