RumorFix has confirmed that Taylor Lautner and Chace Crawford are being considered for roles in a new film about gays serving in the military.
As first reported by the New York Post, Reichen Lehmkuhl, author of Here’s What We’ll Say: Growing Up, Coming Out and the US Air Force Academy, has picked up the option to turn the book into a movie.
The former Amazing Race winner tells RumorFix exclusively that he’s one of the producers on the project and he may end up narrating the film, but “won’t be in it.”
Reichen says the movie will be about the controversial Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy which he says, “forces young men and women to lie, make tough moral choices, and give up integrity for the sake of keeping their dreams.”
The actor, who once dated ‘N Sync’s Lance Bass, tells RumorFix, “It has a powerful love story mixed in with a plot of scandal forced on a group of very different people who are trying to achieve a very simliar goal.”
