The busiest man in show business, Ryan Seacrest, just started a charity that makes it possible for kids in children’s hospitals to produce and host their own TV and radio shows, RumorFix has confirmed.
The American Idol host is opening his first broadcast media center called THE VOICE at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Ryan returned to his hometown this weekend to kick off his new nonprofit organization, The Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
The center’s goal is “to create a diversion when they (the children) are in the hospitals and when they’re sick with their families too,” Ryan said.
Ryan says he hopes to open 10 of these centers across the country.
“I was trying to think of something that I could do that made sense that created some spirit and life in those hospitals,” Ryan said.
