Brad Pitt's production company, Plan B Entertainment, is not in negotiations to produce a film on 33 workers rescued from a Chilean mine.

Several entertainment news outlets have been reporting the erroneous information, but RumorFix went directly to Plan B for the scoop. A spokesman for the production company tells RumorFix the report "is not true."

A Chilean newspaper claims the miners, who spent two and a half months trapped underground, are asking for $1 million each to tell their story. Brad Pitt was rumored to be considering the steep price tag, but we now know that's incorrect.
