Ted Casablanca at E! is reporting that former The Hills star Jason Wahler and Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel are dating.

He writes, “The two good-looking D-listers met during Celebrity Rehab, and apparently it turned into something really special.” The gossip blogger goes on to say the two have been “hanging out nonstop” since meeting and are dating.

But RumorFix caught up with Lauren Conrad’s ex on Friday at the KIIS-FM gifting suite for the American Music Awards and he shot the rumor down.

“People thought me and Rachel were dating,” he tells RumorFix exclusively. “That is not true, she is just a close friend,” he explained.

Jason has only good things to say about his Celebrity Rehab costar, “She is really sweet. I like her.”

When asked if he was dating anyone, Jason answered, “No. I don’t want a girlfriend.”
